This is a guide that includes diverse books, web resources, and other tools so that users can gain knowledge about the lives of those who are not equally represented in society. The selection of the sources for this guide are based on foundation of Read Woke, movement started by librarian Cicely Lewis.

This site includes information on how to search for a book, student friendly research resources, as well as resources for teachers. Library happenings and other information such as how to request a book is included too.

This website was created to compliment the 10th grade world history curriculum. This website can be used as a source for both teachers and students to explore, inquire, and learn about the various ways information can be communicated.
